Hi i am Using a Airstep Pro with sysex messages for transport.

It is only working via classic MIDI cable.
Seems that the force dont listen for sysex on Bluetooth and USB Midi.

the Akai Force listenes to Midi MMC commands once that feature "MMC input" is enabled in settings.
Midi MMC commands use the SysEx Midi format, but are part of the MIDI standard.

I can send MMC commands via bluetooth and the Akai reacts, but not in a useful manner.

I found an almost useful thing to do with MMC commands. The Force User Guide v3.5 says

Force Command Received | Force Function
MMC Deferred Play | Play
MMC Locate Zero, then Deferred Play | Play Start
MMC Stop | Stop
MMC Record Strobe | Record (Rec)
MMC Pause | Stop
MMC Locate values | Change location in clip

But the Force also seems to react to: MMC Record Exit, command 07.

By sending the Force an MMC Record Exit command from a MIDI foot pedal, I can stop a recording clip and make it play... so this would make the Force a live looper!? No. When the clip starts playing, it does not start from beat 1, it starts from beat 3. Doh.

Has anyone figured a way to make playback start from the START of the just-recorded clip, not from the halfway point of the first bar?

The Force is ALMOST the most amazing live looper ever made. Except, it can't be foot-controlled, there's no audio overdubbing, not to mention overdub decay, live reverse, pitching, etc.
