RackForce — a modular MIDI rack AddOn for the Force (MockbaMod, v0.2.0-beta)
Sharing a project I've been building on top of MockbaMod — MockbaTheBorg and Amit Talwar's SD-card mod for the Akai Force that adds SSH, a boot menu, and a whole AddOn ecosystem, if you haven't run into it before.
RackForce is a new AddOn: a modular MIDI rack that runs in the background alongside the Force's own app. Think of it as a small rack of Eurorack-style modules — generative and Euclidean sequencers, a drum machine, a chord/progression engine, quantizers, LFOs — wired together and driving the Force's own synths and MPC Drum groups over MIDI. It's inspired by Mutable Instruments' Eurorack modules (Marbles, Grids, Tides, Branches). The Force still makes the sound; RackForce just makes the musical decisions.
It's fully browser-patchable: open a page from your phone or laptop and you get a live view of the whole patch.
A patch with three voices — a chord engine publishing harmony, a drum machine, and a bassline following the changes:

Every parameter is a live slider, not a config file you have to edit blind:

The step sequencer is a paged, Elektron/Opal-style editor with mouse-drag painting:

Some highlights:
Install: no build tools needed, it's a prebuilt ARM binary — download, drop it in AddOns/ModularRack/ on your SD card, chmod +x, sh manage.sh ENABLE. Full steps and MIDI setup are in the README.
Download: https://github.com/Devko/RackForce/releases/tag/v0.2.0-beta
Repo / docs: https://github.com/Devko/RackForce
Still early — v0.2.0-beta — so expect some rough edges. Bug reports and "it won't launch on my box" reports are genuinely useful; there's an Issues tab on the repo, or reply here.

Some highlights:
- 20 modules total — drum sequencer (23 genres), Euclidean rhythms, chord progressions with voice-leading, generative melody/bassline lines, an arpeggiator, quantizers, LFOs, and a couple of routing modules (live MIDI input into a chain, and an internal bus so one lane can feed several others)
- Velocity accents + humanization so it doesn't sound mechanical
- Full MIDI control over a dedicated channel (16), so you can map the Force's macro knobs to any parameter
- Config edits (genre/scale/key) apply live now, no more transport hiccup when you change something mid-groove
