Having picked one up yesterday, I'm in the market for a decent stand.

Any new suggestions, or are these still the only ones?

Thanks

Just long as you find a stand that's sturdy and can handle the weight of the Akai Force. My stand is strong like bull.

This bad boy allows you to use it in a sitting or standing position or put other stuff on there. It has wheels that can be locked. There's a black version if you're into that. I have my RC-202 on the top part and there's room for other stuff. The third picture in the images shows the important part. You can angle the front part of the desk surface which allows you to angle the unit so you don't have to lean over it and destroy your back. The barrier strip at the bottom keeps the FORCE from sliding off. I put a few thin coasters under the rubber feet to raise it up a bit so the headphone jack is accessible. I'd post a pic of mine sitting on there but I don't have an external image host.

I found a really inexpensive solution that is adjustable:

This is more geared towards someone using it on a desktop. I love that it allows for a large angle so you can see the screen and make height adjustments without fear of it falling off the stand. The force is a heavy machine and when you start using it on this stand it's very stable.

Thanks for the tip. This stand is excellent! :worthy:
It is also great if you use a midi keyboard because the base is flat and will fit underneath it.

J-Fly wrote:I’ve had the Mixing Table stand for a few months now and I like it. It’s very sturdy and I can bang my Force on it pretty hard. It’s possible that they may eventually make a cheaper one out composite material like they did with the Maschine Jam. There have been a few more popping up lately.

I just got the Fönik today - its quite nice bit pricier than the others but definitely quality stuff

Do you still use the fonik stand? i really like it but i‘m also a bit worrying about the airflow or blocked vents…

I have the fonik stand for about 3 months. No issues, but I'm also not keeping the Force powered on 24/7. There's a little gap between the sides of the stand and the Force, which might be just enough for proper airflow.
