Link knob to sample start?

Is there any way to link a knob to Sample Start? The offset range is too limiting, I want to be able to scrub through multiple samples in real-time as they play back.

If not, does anyone have any leads on the Ableton Live parity thing? Just being able to load an instance of something approximating "Simpler" would do it for me
