Correct, you have to do the recordings over but this was a benefit for me because I was able to generate more ideas.

yesterday I tried loading MPC Live projects on the Force in a store and can confirm that it loads the programs, but not the Patterns/Notes, unfortunately..

The statement is basically saying it does not handle odd time signatures well.

Since you can work straight to audio I do not see this as so much of a problem, but it does mean quantizing and chopping to a grid is awkward, requiring workarounds or in some cases may be impossible.
