Can I attach instruments to a recorded clip? (a lazy way)

Hi,

with the drum track, when you record e.g. a kick, you can add up to four instruments to a pad.
My question is - is there a lazy way to do it? E.g. to record a clip with one instrument, and then attach few instruments to the recorded midi?
