Sweet!

Way fancier than mine.

I cut up the cardboard from the box in which the Force game, glued it together with Gorilla Glue, and now I have a stand.

I hereby claim the title of official forum redneck.

The plan is like this:

Get your new piece of gear. Time to celebrate, so crack a cold one while you unpack. Make sure to keep the product packaging in case you send it back, so tuck it all safely back into the box after checking all the items. OK, good. Now to do a live test on it, so crack a cold one and start to put it through its paces. Plug in bits and bobs, try it this way and that. Have any accessories like an external keyboard or internal drive to attach? Crack a cold one, and get to work on that. Awright, now we're cooking. Time to crack your knuckles, roll up your sleeves, open the manual, crack a cold one and do a demo piece. Rocking. Of course, there are some ergonomic problems, so time to get the knife, tape, glue, sharpie, and of course another cold one. At this point you should be able to envision what sort of setup you need, but in case you don't maybe you need to crack another cold one and have a good, long, liquid think about what you want. The right vision should come to you in due course, and then you can crack another cold one and start cutting. Use the glue between layers, tape them together, and then grab another few cold ones to keep you company while you wait for the glue to set.

Sounds like a plan to me, anyway. Just ask Jeff Foxworthy - he'll back me up on this.

Koekepan msg me your address and I'll make you a free stand. WE can't have a Force on cardboard... :)

Let me know what color you want too, I have Black, Yellow, Silver, Red, Orange and Green

It prints in 5 pieces so you can mix up the colors as well.

Anyway let me know... :)

Oh man. That looks so sweet.

I need to compose a set, and take it on the road with this baby. It's going to look awesome. If the Synesthesia guys finally deliver my Pipes, they'll be a potent combo on stage.

Hey guys, just a quick shot that ... well, I could have totally shown a picture of the stand, but you've already seen it. It arrived in good shape; all I had to do was tighten a single bolt slightly. Sorry about the crummy image quality, but my money goes on music gear first.

From left to right are my Tascam DP-32SD (on the cardboard and glue redneck special stand), the Force (with the new stand's feet peeping out the bottom), my newly-arrived Synesthesia Pipes (more potent than a sixteen year old pounding espresso and Viagra), and a KORG nanokey for when it's just easier to slap down a chord on keys. Behind the Force are a few things tucked away; a USB hub, a soundbrick for mix checking, and on top are my AKG headphones for general quiet workings.

So much power on one desk, I think it would have caused many, many heart attacks back in the '70s.

Hey there,
I made my stand out of 20x20 aluminum profile with some 3D printed parts. It's cheap and stable. The angle can also be adjusted. :-D

Can't help but feel that there's something very cyberpunk about Stromchaos's stand.
