Akai Force Forum: Everything relating to the Akai Force, the new 64 pad, clip-based standalone sampler/groovebox from Akai. While not an MPC, it shares many similar software features to the MPC X/MPC Live including the same underlying code-base.

I got a SD card with a project from a friend, he use the Force and has the same firmware version of mine, so I popped the SD card in the slot but I can't find any place where I can actually load a project.

My main window show me the demo projects, templates and latest loaded projects... but this is a new project so how the heck do I load it? :D

Did you try looking for it in the browser?

Open the menu, tap on Browser, then go poking around to see what you find.

I see, it is the same you get when you click the load button then.

Seems that if you open a project from a template or a demo, and then use the "load" button, if you select a PROJ file, it will load the project. This is the most counter-intuitive thing I have ever seen to be honest.

I went in the menu to create a new project, and was expecting to see a "load" button there, to load a project, not in the load section for sounds and assets. Thanks for the hint!
