Saving Tracks vs Drum Programs

Hey there!

I have a question. What different information is saved when saving a track vs when saving a drum program?
Except that saving a track seems to create a subfolder for samples, and Drum Program doesn't seem to.
Originally I was hoping that saving a track saves all the sequences, too, but apparently it doesn't.
Is there any way to save a track with all its sequences?
