Midi learn question

Hey hey, I wonder if anyone knows if buttons on the upper left of the Force (most importantly the transport buttons and Shift)can be trigggered via midi learn from the pads of a midi controller (mpk for example). I don’t have a controller so I haven’t tried but I see that midi learn parameters seem to be dedicated fully to mixer settings. Thanks

It's impossible to prove a negative, so I may be wrong, but I don't think that it is.

I've never seen any sign that this is possible, nor that it was even a contemplated feature.

Thanks, yeah I thought probably not.. a shame the force can’t support a foot switch. I remember when certain buttons on my old 2500 stopped working, I could just tell the foot switch to be anything at all (F3, stop, pad A01, you name it).

You don’t have to MIDI Learn transport. Force already understands MMC Start/Stop/Record Strobe, so just get a MIDI controller that can send those and it’ll work.

I already get Force to start from my Octatrack and DTXM12.

I’ve read of others having success with Morningstar Controllers as well.
