I'm running 3.2.4. The freezes started with some firmware update some time ago, don't exactly remember which version it was. I was hoping that maybe it's a temporary bug, and Akai will fix the issue, but it's still present to this day. I've seen some people complain about this on Youtube, so it's not just me.

I started to wonder if Akai is even aware of the problem. It looks like the control surface stops responding completely after a couple of minutes of running (it even stops blinking), and the sound stops, too, but the touchscreen continues to work fine. But I can't even switch between modes with the screen alone. It can even happen before any project is loaded, that is on the welcome screen, that shows you the demo songs. Do you guys experience it, too?

To me it sounds like some mutex locking bug, that was introduced in some version, but that's just my hunch. At this rate, for several months now, my Force is essentially unusable.

No freezing problems here either. Runs quite nicely on 3.2.4.

Did you change anything on the internal disc?

Nope. I've had internal SSD, removed it, tried with SD card, same effect. It looks to me that when I'm not using external USB audio interface, the freezing doesn't stop the sound, which makes me think that what actually freezes is the USB bus. Perhaps the control surface is internally connected via USB, which would explain why it stops working.
