I have two audio tracks. One on A and one on B Crossfader. I want to record my project to arranger using the crossfader to fade back and forth between these two audio tracks but it wont record what I physically do with the crossfader and merely records the two tracks at full volume, I have tried to record to arranger and then do the crossfading with automation switched on at the two audio tracks but still no joy. Is it not possible to record the crossfader A B or is there some other way of doing this?
Thanks in advance.

I think that it is possible, but only if you set up a macro that is driven by the crossfader, and then handles the track volume of the tracks in question.
