audio skipping while Tempo Change during song

Another thing I've encountered is that if I have a song (audio clip) playing, I like to have Warp disabled for the clip so that it plays in its native tempo regardless of the Force global tempo.

but if I change the global tempo while the song plays, it still makes the song skip while adjusting tempo.

is there a fix for this?

Isn't there a way to adjust the tempo during playback so that the audio simply speeds up/slows down rather than this skipping business??

So you want the audio clip to play in its native tempo, but you also want it to speed up and down. Sorry but that doesn't seem to make any sense.

That's like saying I want you to run really fast or slow without moving your legs.
