Layer pads on same step in step sequencer

Hi,

I have a drumkit with 4 pads, with 4 different sounds. I want to enter them all in step sequencer mode, on the same step.

When I've entered the first pads on some steps, I would like to layer the other pads on top of the same step. But instead it's over writing the step.

How can layer sounds on the same steps in sequencer mode?

Well, now when I select a different pad, the sequencer is empty and I can fill the steps for that pad. Don't know what I was doing before, but now it works like I expected it.

This is may help. This for the MPC but the Step-Seq is the same on the Force.

Thanks I have the same problem again, I'm overwriting steps with pad1 when I add a step with pad2

You have to select the pad first then put it on the step(s) you want. Each has its own step lane. Did you read the manual & watch the video?
