Korg nanoKontrol Play/Stop

I want to trigger Play Stop with the Korg nanoKontrol, so I tried Midi Learn, and it received the play button on the nanoKontrol. I went to ForceUSB and then went through the list of CC# commands. I couldn't find Play/Stop in the list.

I think all I need to know is which CC# they are for Play Stop.

You cannot control play/stop from outside with MIDI CC.

OK so nanoKontrol can also send MMC, so how do I do it that way?

I just tried it out, and Force didn't pick up PLAY or STOP for some reason.

If it's a NanoKontrol 2, then it doesn't send MMC, AFAIK. Mine doesn't, at least.

It's nanoKontrol 1, but nanoKontrol 2 does too if you tell it to be a nanonKontrol 1.

How do you tell it that? I couldn't find that in Korg's NanoKontrol 2 PDF manual.

Did you try checking in the Force's MIDI monitor, what messages the Korg device is actually sending?

I don't know how you tell nanoKontrol 2 to be a nanoKontrol 1, but I saw it on YouTube that someone made nanoKontrol 2 use MMC by telling it to be a nonKontrol 1. Probably in the Korg Kontrol Editor. I tried FORCE Learn but it doesn't seem to report MMC commands in the monitor. It reports CC# if you use CC# instead.
