Memory issue

Hi guys, I have an issue with my Akai Force. I have recently bought Akai mpc keys 61 and I just downloaded the plugins and expansions to my Akai Force. I saved them to my ssd where is still plenty of space. But it tells me there is low memory and I can't load any plugins. I am saving everything on my ssd. I don't see any reason it would do this. Does anyone know what could be the problem ? Thanks.

As far as I know the keys has the most memory. Maybe it will load to the keys and not to the force. The key has 4 Gb of working ram and the force 2 Gb……

Some of the plugins are really cpu and ram hungry, take that in account! I haven’t bought any of the extra plugins, so I do not know for sure, but this is what I guess and think.

Storage and memory are two separate things. Your project will use the built in memory (ram) to load plugins, keygroups etc. the force has around 1GB of available memory. It sounds like your project has used up most of that memory so you need to learn how to manage memory, purge unused samples etc. Use the memory icon top right of screen to check. Plugins like fabric and studio strings are memory hogs

Separately you can stream audio from your disk to save memory (but cannot stream plugins)

When you save a project it gets saved into your storage, storage is for storing your files when your unit is powered off
