Hi everyone!

I'd like to use the full 8x8 matrix while editing my drums steps in step sequencer mode.

If I'm correct by default you only have a 4x8, as the bottom-left4x4 is dedicated to kit selection and the bottom-right 4x4 to velocity parameters.

Also I'm If I'm correct this exists for chords and note mode by default.

How could I do that?

Here's the manual

What you're looking for is the "Poly 8x8 Mode".

It seems that for a plugin track with a DrumSynth:Multi plugin, only the Drum step sequencer mode can be used. Pressing the STEP SEQ button does nothing for a DrumSynth:Multi plugin track, so if you want to other step sequencer modes with a DrumSynth:Multi plugin, you'll have to use a separate MIDI track for your notes and route the track's MIDI send to the DrumSynth:Multi plugin track.

To change the velocity of the notes created when tapping pads, you'll have to change the step sequencer to Drum mode, change the velocity setting, and then go back to Poly 8x8 mode. Or at least I couldn't find any other way to do that.
