As per Akai’s email that just went out:

MPC3 Desktop Software will enter public beta in May, giving users an early look at its powerful new capabilities.

and

• Force users can look forward to a major update entering Private Beta this month, integrating MPC features into the platform—one of the most highly requested enhancements from the community.

Never! :smh:
I never give up hope that they would drop at at least 1 last update. This just justify my theories about how they will go about merging the 2 platforms. I recently said somewhere that it makes sense to put the Force on hold & just focus on the giving the MPC all or at lease most the Force features & fixing most of bugs & adding new things that can then be ported to the Force. Now based on the screenshots: https://www.elektronauts.com/t/mpc-thre ... 19118/3260 it's looks like they brought back time-sigs but it could mean something else, but if it is that, then there's no reason the Force can't get Time-sigs now that MPC3 has it. I guess you may end up writing that Force Bible after all.

Can't Flex Beat be kinda emulated on the Force using the crossfader, pad macros & clips to store MIDI automation that can be MIDI sent to other tracks? - I haven't really looked too deeply into Flex Beat so maybe it has things can't be emulated.

I mean yeah I can probably do that, but it's also just kind of ridiculous that the actual plugin works on the MPC and not the Force.

My days of tweaking and noodling to create tools are behind me. I just want to take someone else's purpose-made tool and use it and spend most of my time making music, not creating tools.

 I understand, I was just giving a reason why it's not on the Force. It's seems like a way for MPC to compensate for the lack of the Force features that can emulate Flex Beat, considering you're will to make it happen. Which should be that much work since your just making your own performance automation presets & save them to clips as you go. You can then add this track to your project template & have all these forever growing Flex clips (up to 999) to every project.

I might buy it if it was on sale, but first I would get the 10 trial & see how much I could copy to clips or emulate in other ways, but if it has enough things that's unique or just more convenient to have it as a plugin then I'll get it.
