Akai Force Firmware 3.5.0 had issues for my Forces, opening the shop screen when powering on or resetting every time. Many errors caused my tracks to crash on load or while playing, forcing me to endure the opening dialog screens and recovered from an error choice of recovering the project or starting over, which might cause another loop of crashing and seeing the 3 opening shop screens.

I always back my whole Projects folder up before any Firmware updates, then Open and Save my tracks as I go in to the next firmware..

On to Akai Force Firmware 3.6.0 Bug Reports

1) Tracks with CV when opened show a box indicating an issue with CV 5, 6, and 7, but we only have access to 1-4 on the Force channel screen, corresponding to the 4 CV Out on ports on the back side of the Force.. Only CV in Track Settings is CV Port set to 1 and Gate Port set to 2 just like opening a new CV track, so I have to reassign Mod Wheel Port and Velocity Port again, usually CV3 and CV4.

When this CV bug happens, the SAVE function and SAVE AS both go back to root of Internal for any save attempts, forcing you to remember what song and mix you were working on, access the installed hard disc, run through folders, and select the song to OVERWRITE the original or make a new file with Save As. I need to take better notes to see if this solves the problem permanently moving forward, but I feel it happened multiple times on tracks I've worked on.

2) In 3.6 all of my Bar Length selections reverted to 1 bar.

3) I still get the 2 bar error in Midi Link when on 4 bar. The Force will lock in to a midi clock at 2 bars behind the 4 bar loop, or half way through, causing any builds and crashes to happen incorrectly. The Force might wait past the other Force's Launch point and start 2 bars later. I have no Indi The only fix is re-Load the Project, change or verify 4 Bar with Shift+4 Bar/Double, Save, and *** Launch just before the end of the last bar on the other Force. *** If they line up, I save it again while bowing to the Force :worthy: for allowing me to pass.

4) One Force still opens to the New, Shop screen, and the other Force opens fine... 21 and 22 starting numbers in serial number.
