Error - Only License Holder Can Deauthorize the license

I'm at a loss here. I purchased a used Akai Force. The previous owner and I emailed Akai support asking for a deactivation, which they confirmed they did. I now have the serial number of the machine registered to my inMusic account.

But I keep getting this error: "Only License Holder Can Deauthorize the license" every time I try to log them out. I have performed a preference reset, I have tried to switch wi-fi, I have turned the machine off and on again nearly a hundred times. Akai support has now ghosted me and I think I am stuck with a machine I can't add instruments to.

I wanted to downloaded an older firmware but they seemed to have scrubbed the internet of any link.
Has anyone else gone through this and does anyone have any solutions? At this point I can't rely on Akai Support and I just spent $500 on a machine I can't add any sounds/instruments to. All I can use is the defaults...

Just keep on contacting Akai support, I don't think there's any other way to resolve it.

I bought a used force last summer , it was still logged in to the previous previous owner. I just logged him out on the force and created a new account and registered it it worked ok .
I also got a used Mpc studio mk 2 which was still registered to someone too many times , I had no idea who, so to get the downloads I changed the serial number by a few digits and it registered . If they are being awkward f..k em try anything.
But on the force that would work for the initial downloads but Not sure if that would work for the plugins , you could try it with the trials , you could try that if all else fails .
As for the firmware …try the mockba firmware their discord will have links to older versions .
