Locating Motif Sounds with MPC

Can anyone tell me how do I locate the different banks of sounds on the Motif using the MPC. Im just learning how to save programs but dont fully understand. It seems like when I swith the program number on the MPC it doesnt take me through every single sound. And when I come back to a beat after turning everything off, i cant figure out how to recall the sounds on the Motif. Do i have to reload them manually on the Motif or what?????

u MUST insert program and control changes in step edit. save this and ur good to go.

I call up all my sounds used on the Motif from the MPC by doing a "MIDI DUMP"
