Any good advice for a new comer?

Hey people. Just got a 2000xl....with built in zip and external CD-R. I've never used one before so I am just getting my feet wet. I've also got turntables. I just need some quick tips to help me out. I know I'm gonna have to read the manual and everything, but if u people could give me some tips that u would have liked to get or did get when you first started I would appreciate it. Thanx,

My tip is read this site, read www.mpc2000xl.com, read the manual, experiment and when you have a specific question, feel free to post it here and we will help you!

I bought mine from a guy who didn't have the manual....so if you have any way I could get my hands on one i'd appreciate it.

the manual sux, just use the internet to find out what u need to kno, this site was very helpful to me

the manual is available online from akai and many other sources as a PDF download.

READ THE MANUAL!
Even though people say it sucks, it has all the basics in there.
If more people read the manual, this forum would have way less questions asking about the most basic functions.
