Velocity automation

on hi-hats or whatever. What's the best way to do it on my mpc?

um, i usually just bang in the hats without full level turned on and get the natural velocity that way. if you are using note repeat to do them you can do the same thing, just turn full level off andvary how hard you hold the pads down while using note repeat. if you already have the hats sequenced, just go through step edit and change up the level on each hit.

Yeah, maybe you're right. I'll just keep doing it that way.

I use 16 levels, set to velocity. That way I got complete control.

good idea, i usually use multiple hats at once though for added variations. i always forget to use 16 levels for velocity though.
