Hellas!
As mentioned above, i'd like to hear how other s950 Users go for filtering out those 90'ish Basslines often heard in the beats from PR, Damu etc.
Thing is, i often had success with it but nearly as often i just get a grumbling bullsh!t i dont want to soil my beat with.
Is it just sample-depending or is there more technique to it?
The way i do is pretty minimalistic...:
-Just sample the loop (with the bassline) out of the MPC into the s950.
-Edit Program -> Filter -> and then something like 10-30
-Then i just playback the loop and re-record into the MPC.
I've no clue if thats the whole trick, or if i should mess around with any other settings on the s950 like ADSR, sampling bandwith etc.
Moreover i couldn't find any tutorials on the net or threads on this board. And YES, i searched before posting..
Would be kind, if anyone doing similar things could give me some feedback!
peace
