What up people. I've recently switched to Mac and got Logic Pro 8. I'm using it with my 2k Classic. I am running it on an iMac G5 (the older model with the PowerPC processer, not intel). It is running flawlessly with Pro Tools 8 and even Ableton Live. I started doing research on chopping in Logic via youtube and even broke down and bought a book on it. Everyone seems to be having success with this slash key feature. Everone but me that is. To be exact, I have had plenty of success chopping audio with this feature at my school using the G5's they have running Logic Pro 8, but when I try it at home i just get this weird noise whenever i hit the slash key. I have searched this forum and even asked this question in the Logic Tips and Tricks thread and it was suggested to try option plus slash (still to no avail). Is there a setting that needs to be turned on that anyone may know about? Could it be the older model and processer? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Peace

Lmao. Logic has a window where you can create your own custom shortcuts. Look for it in preferences maybe?

Googled it:
Key commands, sir. They're completely customizable.

Logic Pro > Preferences > Key Commands or Option + K
