Pretty sure my S900 is dead :)

I have not turn the beast on for a few months and when i did last night the backlight turn on and the top row of display comes up solid. I can still run sound through it to resample which is all i was doing in the first place but it does not boot up. Anyone else have any experience with the S900/S950 ?

running samples through it doesnt do anything?
the samples need to be saved any played back for effect
