i dont have the ability to try this atm,
but has anyone experimented with 'rendering' a rough beat,
then recording singing/rapping/whatever with the beat playing back at two speeds (so recording the different versions sequentially of course) ? (and then repitching them so they match the orginal beat)
for example, one time pitched up 6 semitones (your going to have to sing faster and higher) and one time 6 ST lower (slower and lower) quite extreme values in this example, but it would be cool to see what effect you get with having the 'body' resonances an octave apart (im thinking it might not be fully noticeable, like parallel movement of notes is confusing too sometimes)
