Compressor and eq

I Use Fl studio And i was wondering what is the best way to get that hard hitting kick and snare sounds. I have always been

using soundgoodizier and eq, but the kick and snare wont get that hard kick sound. If you are are Using Fl studio and know how

to get this hard kicking sound can you please tell me. Its Like vybe beatz uses and Lex luger. And how do i get this stuff to be

hard as f**k

Start off with the right sample.

The title of the thread suggests you know where to start at least. Just learn how to use them both correctly. Yes it will take time, yes you will get it wrong. Google "Sound on Sound Compression Made Easy". It's a useful article that will give you an insight into how to get the results you want.

Also give that a go, you might not use that exact compressor but the video explains what each part does in some detail and how it affects the signal.
