Wav/Audio file....

After finally figuring out my Midi configurations on my CPU, I was faced with a new obstacle! How do get the Midi data that is transferred to a software application to show up as a wav or audio file? It seems as though Wav/audio files are easier to edit within software than straight midi data.

Midi data dosn't just "show up" as a wav. You have to hi-light the midi data then hold shift+ctrl+alt+apple+w. Voila! its a wav.

that depends if the midi is driving a softsynth. if its an external module or synth, youll have to track it in.

In most applications you have to record the midi as an audio track, I believe that is what Nanoloop was referring to by "tracking it in", correct me if I'm wrong Nano.
