Alright, ever since I got my MPD, I was wondering if it's possible to assign one instrument like a synth or something to my MPK while assign drums or a sample or another synth to my MPD? If anybody can explain in detail IF IT IS possible then it would be highly appreciated. One!

The manuals are bunk.
And elaborate on the different midi channels in Reason and stuff

you can assign each device to transmit on a different midi channel, and each instrument to receive on a different midi channel. this way they know which controller to respond to.

how you set this up will differ for each piece in your setup, and is definitely in the manual for each of these pieces of gear. I'm not just saying that - it has to be in there, and it is going to be way more precise than any of us who don't have your exact setup can tell you.

.... wow you went to the " bunk " take.
If you cant understand the manuals the how would you understand us?
In reason. Edit>prefrences>control surface then add your devices and select green check to use with reason. Advanced. Set chanels anx pick a for one and b for the other. Set up controlera to transmit coresponding channel.

1. Get a midi interface.
2. Re-read the manuals
3. Write out on paper your thoughts and map out a sigal flow
4. Implement your plans and re-read manuals to double check hook up.
5. Nevet say bunk again.
