To answer the OP

I use S1 because I was used to Cubase but hated the mixer. Now that S1 has a PT style mixer, and editing of the already familiar cubase, it was natural for me to like the streamlined S1 and its re-writeen code. I will admit i like the editing of PT better than S1 because of the smart tool vs pressing 1, 2, 3 shortcuts for editing. However, S1 is a very competent DAW and very fast. If you like ableton's drag and drop workflow, you should check it out. Right click to create an FX bus is a godsend. So is hiding unused tracks in the mixer. I wish you could do that in the arrange page. Maybe you can, i just don't know yet.

Thing is, I learned Cubase cuz i was sick of using the "crippled" PT LE and Digi 001. The other thing that PT doesn't have is offline bounce which is a deal breaker for me (bounce a 2-hour DJ takes minutes in S1 or any other DAW).

dude just asked if anyone was feelin S1. No need to get your panties in a bunch if you use another daw... all good. yall are such haters...lol
