Recording to DAW - one track at a time?

I've done it both ways and synching through MIDI is the best and easiest way to do it. The whole 'line things up afterwards' sounds easy, but in practice it's pretty difficult, at least from my experiences.

i didn't read this whole thread but i'll tell u this much

use MTC

do one track at a time

add 4-8 blank bars on your mpc at beginning of seq

don't do the line up hi hat or whatever bullshiiit

that defeats the purpose

mpc's don't line up

that's the whole point of them
