that triumph joint is dope! you're doing that w/ reaper?

i must admit, the workflow on an mpc is very slow and you really need time to complete something. i do everything in the 4000, everything. no daw. the idea of ableton and the comments i'm reading about reaper sound intriguing. i mean, i don't understand why cats really track out using an mpc anyways. that's like a huge extra step in my opinion. if i'm using a daw, i'm using a daw, if i'm using the mp, that's all i wanna use. . it's either analogue or digital for me, why make it so complicated? i've been thinking about macbook pro and ableton or something similar lately. i've seen some videos on youtube and i'm like wow. the sad part is, i'd have to sell my beloved equipment to acquire a new set up. i don't know if i can part ways with my mpc! i do think that software has the advantage overall and it's probably very easy to use. mpc's are for cats that truly love the mpc. technically, what is an mpc anyways? open it up and look - it's a computer! accordingly, the latest computer/software has an advantage.
