Questoin for the sample heads for the good doc

I was looking for some anime sound bites, not music, but cool vocal drops for a track I'm working on and I cannot find any. Where the heck are they on the net? they gotta be out there somewhere!
I goodled and spent 1 hour last night looking and all I could find was a couple. I dont care if they are dubbed or in english, or from what show but I need some anyone got a URL for me? a ftp site perhaps?
I would prefer some of the more "violent" ones (Gunsmith cats, cowboy bebop, Kenshin, Gndam, DBZ, etc.) but any help will do.

i think you know were they are and the answer lies beyond the net.

go to blockbusters, rent some, sample them, return them late (don't rewind).

I could do that, but that would kinda be prohibitve since I want to pull alot of sound bites from them. I dont really have the loot to rent 10 or 15 video's thanks to my vinyl habit, nor the time to watch them thanks to my work schedule.

I know the sites are out there, but alot of them are actually japanese, and alot of them are moving around alot to differnet geocities sites and stuff. I was mainly hoping that someone on here was on the mailing list for one of the sites (where they tell you each 2 weeks where they move the site to) could just hip me to one where they're at this week.

also, the video stores 'round here dont have good anime, we only get robotech, which I got the dvd's of and some other stuff like Akira and Bubblegum Crisis, which I got all the sounds I need in my collection.

ahh, I might just break down and buy the cowboy bebop perfect session.

why do you need to sample that many of them?

it sounds like you are trying to build up a library of them to use for a scratch record or a sample cd or something.

no. But that is a good idea tho. No I want to use them for a song. There are lots of them out there, but there aren't many good ones. There is a ton of Urutsai Yatsura (sp) stuff out there and the "kiddie" shows, but I want a certain kind of them. Im not asking for people to send me any. I just want to know if there is somewhere on the net where they swoop them. dam

I found a massive FTP site @ Tokyo U that had a ton of anime stuff in it.
