There's this song I want to sample from a dvd I have, but I dont know how. Please help!! Thanks.

just plug the audio outs from the dvd player into the asr10 inputs...

I tried that before and it didn't work. i just ended up puttin a mic near the speaker and sampled that sh!t that way

You try running the cables from the DVD outputs through a mixer at all?

If you have analog audio coming out of your DVD player it should plug into ANY sampler. IT should be a line level signal. It should be quite easy to do without a mixer. But a mixer would give better volume control. If you have your stereo hooked up to the DVD player, just plug the headphone out of the stereo into the sampler.

pretty elementary s**t. just plug the outs to the ins on the sampler, and push sample.

maybe you plugged them into the digital outs on the asr. I dont know if you know that though the holes are there they do not actually work unless you get the upgrade, if this is too obvious then I am sorry.
