non destructive chop on a mac

can anyone recommend anything similiar to jj os's NDC or even Fl studio's Slicex. I basically wanna have something to load an entire song into and then manually add my own chop points much like i used to with fl studio's slicex to play with on my midi controller.

JJOS NDC is kinda unique in the sense that you can have chops that cover overlapping portions of the sample. I'm not aware of anything in the software world that can do that. Apparently they don't want to confuse us... If you want something more like slicex, there are about a million different options. Depends on your workflow and how you envision your studio setup. I use Ableton Live.

im trying to get used to ableton right now cause it seems like the closest to a pattern based sequencer like im used to. I dont really mind not having overlapping samples. basically on fl studio's slicex i would put an entire song into it and set different chop markers to control with my midi keys. I'd record a couple sequences of different sample hits and then by switching to an empty sequence i'd be able to edit my chop markers without destroying any previously made sequences.

recycle by propellorhead is good and u wouldn't need to be using reason, even

the awesome part about slicex was doing it all in DAW. I've used recycle in the past and it was just a mess resaving all the chops everytime i noticed something off. But i havent tried it out with a midi controller before saving the chops though as i didnt have one back then, is it possible to audition the samples like that?.Truly missing fl studio's pattern sequencer and arrangement mode also. I guess i've gotta save up for that over priced maschine controller just for the software, seems like my closest best for trying what i want to do.
