who has the best sounds?....better sequencer.....better sampler.....better polphony.....better overall! Please choose even if you do not wanna post!

also i dont see akai on the list.

best sampler: hands down NI Kontakt
best sequencer: i really like reason's. logic is great too.
best sounds: used record stores

thats my 2cents.

i'm going to have to gho with akai also. Can't see myself sampling without the mpc.

`Gear` is little too broad. This implies that one company can supply all our needs. I use different manufactures for different needs since each manufacturer is better in a certain ways.

For synths it's Waldorf
For effects it's Lexicon
For recording it's Akai
For sampling it's Ensoniq
For sequencing it's Akai
For looping its Electrix
For remote control it's Peavey
For turnatables it's Technics
