Remix Techniques

I use acid to beat map thier voice then I act like the beat mapper is a kick and snare then I go on from there.

acid is wack casue it dont beat match it constiantly. u might be better off to chop it in recycle and lace em with say like a vst sampler like sample tank. like export the midi file from reycle into say acid and have it trigger the sampler.

hey I chop in recycle too, but what programs constiantly for more than 4 bars? because acid only does it for 4 bars... that's what I hate about it.

the dummies book sounds really good. i took a look at the table of contents .sounds pretty tight. thanks binger. ill look into this.


and also im not familiar with remixing anything or putting accapellas to instrumentals. but what is beat mapping? sounds interesting. maybe i should already know this, but i dont.

Oh, yeah theres a book on turntable lab by paul white about remixing- I don't have it but his other books are pretty thorugh, need to know only ish- good luck -peace
