Just to make sure I understand, do you want to sequence In PT or sequence everything in the MPC and record all the audio tracks onto PT?

Yeah i wanna sequence everything on mpc and record on pt

There are a couple of ways you can set things up, I would set it up like this:

MPC Midi out A> Triton Midi in
Triton Midi out > MPC Midi in 1

MPC Mid out B> Fantom Midi in

Digi 002 Midi out> MPC Midi in 2

go here for how to sync it up:

I forgot to mention that you'll want to connect all the audio outs from your gear to the audio inputs on the 002, this should go without sayin' but.........

You have to create new AUX tracks in Pro Tools. Create one stereo AUX for each of your instruments, then set the inputs according to the inputs which each of your modules are plugged. So if your MP is hooked up to Line Input 1&2, then set the input for the AUX to 1&2 etc.

You can save a custom template with all your I/O setup so you don't have to recreate the same session every time you launch Pro Tools.

You can also customize you input names by labeling them MPC L&R, Fantom L&R, etc.

Oh okay so i don't need to run that oms then

OMS? Are you still using mac OS 9?

Have to admit, I'm a lil' thrown by the aux track for every audio track thing, I've nevr had to do this. Aux tracks are necessary to record software synths(not always)but not for recording hardware.

The fact that PT is triggering the MPC but you're not getting any sound tells me that you might have the input/output setup wrong. Go to the I/O setup and hit the defalt button for the input section. Hit Option+K and arm a track, hit play on the PT transport, anything? It's been a while since I've used PT on a Mac so I might be missin' somethin but I'll look into what the problem could be.
