Fellas,
I'm trying to implement this in a new beat, but i need a little help. I have my hi-hat track on track 2 (Pad 4) under a program called "Acoustic Drum Kit." After i copy the track to track 6, i want to tune this one down a bit. However, since the mixer mode only controls panning for individual pads and not tracks, if i pan Pad 4 for hi-hat in track 2 to the left, it will also do it for track 6, since the panning is attached to the program and not the track. Do i need to make a new program just for my hi-hat on track 6? I'm working with JJOS Free.
Are you able to control panning and level for individual tracks instead of pads in the paid JJOS systems?
I've also been curious about this for quantize. Is quantize specific to the track, sequence or project? If i quantize my hats on one track at 1/32, then quantize my snare at 1/8th, how does that work in terms of grid edit when i switch back to the hats track. I've already played around with this but i've been getting some mixed results..
Thanks for the Help.
Respectfully,
Clemente
