It's been a while... went to Maschine and now back to an MPC 1000.

I only have the MPC.
A bunch of reasons for switching kit. Keep it fresh and fun, the workflow. I do like the Maschine's workflow and sample mangling possibilities but much prefer the 'instrument' feel, the speed and the sound of the MPC. The main reason is that the MPC is standalone and gets me focused on music instead of technology/latency/drivers/audiointerface/plugins/internet.
