whats up everyone. im sure for the most part everyone on here has samples on there computers. and some others (if you like me) have a COLLECTION of samples. I wanted to be able to browse through my sample COLLECTION quickly and to be able to preview the sample with one simple click of the mouse. after searching the internet i found a file browser called "xplorer2" you can download it here http://download.cnet.com/Xplorer2-Lite/ ... 07731.html
But anyway it works out pretty good for my but i was wondering what you guys use to browse and manage your COLLECTIONS

I use windows.. I set up folders with categories... I use vlc media player... and if I want to quickly audition a folder of sounds (for example, a folder of 500 kick sounds) I have fl studio and I push the down arrow key really quick.

I think you made the other thread talking about this before you found out about xplorer2... right? well thanks for the heads up...

I use the fl studio browser for that same audition 1 click feature... so for sure I know what you mean!

I have to give a shout-out to "everything.exe"

This search utility has saved my ass in more ways than one.

Xtra nice if you have multiple volumes or HDD in your PC.
