The audigy will be hard to fit into a laptop
I have a Quattro for my laptop too. The soundquality is great, but the driver are a bit troublesome. In fact, most people can't get it to work at all. Check out

I can only think of one e-magic soundcard right now, that blue plastic box right? A friend of mine has it, and it sounded pretty good. But from what I remember it didn't have midi. If you want to use the mpc along with your laptop you'll need midi too. you can buy separate midi boxes too, but i think it's easier to have it all in one box.
