What Mpc fam,\
I have a quick question. When I am burning my cd's I am loosing something. Its not really a sound, its just the warmness of the music. I am running the cables directly from the digi 002 into an out board cd burner. Any suggestions on how to remedy this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Many people don't realize the importance of mixing. The sound from your monitors or headphones may not be 'true' or flat. The sound is usually amplified in some way and when you are burning, you're getting the real sound. You probably need to do a lil tweaking in PT or adjust your 002 levels until you get the sound you're looking for.

What up Sizz,
Thanks for the info. I did try to mix it down somewhat. And I am sure that I can do more, to make it sound a little better. But I dont think that is the whole problem. I cant really explain it, but once the song is on the cd, and I go to play it in my whip, it just sounds generic, It doesnt hit the same that it did when it was coming off of the PT? Maybe I have to run the cables through a pre-amp, then in to the cd burner. Im hope that when I take the tracks into get mastered that I wont recieve the same results.
