MPC Pros need your input

Whats the quickest best sounding way to record your beats. I want to get them to sound right but get product out there quicker. I can spend 3 days on a mix alone sometimes in my DAW which is Studio One.

I want the quickest OFFICIAL METHOD to get from point A to point B including:

- Arrangement
- Mixing

I saw dude Supreme from WuTang track out his joints straight from the MPC to a 2 track. I need this simplicity in my life! So long as a mix can sound viable for placement consideration in the MPC 2500 Im good! What do you guys think? Id like to hear from some people out there mastering their craft and/or getting placements. Where is Prah

I track-out each track individually to my DAW, through a mixer.
This way I have a rough eq and know where its headed, but I feel the need to use fabfilter pro Q on each track to get rid of certain noise/low end.
I'm working with a mpc2000 and there is just not enough options when it comes to mixing/eqing.

I'm going to try the same thing you want to achieve, and get it from the mixer straight to tape to alltogether avoid a DAW, but I'm not sure if the result will be as good.

Yup, the mpc 2500 has eq, compression and filter built into the JJOS. Though it's not at the level of quality of a fabfilter vst, if it can get the job done why spend more time on it?

Thats why Im leaning towards going all MPC 2500 (JJOS) for the demo mixes. I'm fortunate to have tools at my disposal but until I get a placement, I need to get my lotto tickets up so to speak

Also, call it placebo effect but I like the sound of the 2000xl over the mpc2500.

i got a multi-tracking setup where i can track 16 tracks at once in one pass.
i generally mix in the mpc, but i always track like this for mixing reasons, if i want a two track, i track my several tracks into DAW, stick a limiter on it and export that.

my method is a result of tracking through a desk mixer with EQ and never being happy with it later. and having to re-track (which does my fuggin head in)

i might go back to a desk later, but for now, unlimited edits in the PC is a no brainer.
