Nice one Shyfte, I've always said any sampler can make the sound you seek from crispy clear to grimey guck. I think peeps read old articles of their favorite producer and think what they had and used is relevant today
Thanks, I do not totally agree with your point tho! when given a super old sampler you really can't get that super new sound.. unless you process it digital. But yeah.. older type of beats are usually pretty easily to emulate on newer gear!
No emulations at all, you can get any sound you want from any sampler. Samplers are merely recorders, what you put in is what comes out. I use effects rarely, maybe reverb or tape echo but I get my sound from pure electricity
