Panning

split it into two pieces-left piece, right piece in the conversion window....or copy the sample then assign it to two pads, then assign one of the samples to play simultaneously with the other then go to the mixer window and have at it....i'm gonna try it later....take care...[/color]

Suppose we have a snare pattern in TRK 1 and we want to make it move everywhere between left and right.
- Copy to an empty track.  Mute TRK 1
- Go in Mixer screen (SHIFT+7), Setup, select Record Mix Changes.
- Return to Mixer screen and select snare Pan (.
(hit a pad to select the corresponding channel)
- Move it by the dial; does it vary?  Practice a bit.
- Start OVERDUB and use the dial to vary the pan position of snare sound.  
- Press STOP when done.
- Play the sequence.    Does snare sound correct?
- If not, just mute the track and start again duplicating TRK 1 to an empty track.

I assume you have read the manual and know MPC basic operations
