does everyone here regularly change this from 4/4 to any thing else when they are makin beats..i never do so am i missing out

You can make 3/4 / 6/8 beats with the time signature set to 4/4, Id recommend keeping it in 4/4 even if you make a 6/8 beat because its easier, Just set the timing to triplets. 1/16 (3), etc.
