Sync'n the mp to da c

Ok heres the deal- i been using a mpc for about 2 years and some change and love the machine more than my own family...only thing is i hate the quantize on the thing. So I recently got a computer running cubase sx and want to have that master the mpc. I got it all wired up right to do it but i think the sync out goes to mtc and in to mmc? is that right? also how do you set it up on the computer to sync as well as run when i what it to, change sequences when i want it to, and to shut the #### up when i need it to?
