you can spend thousands of dollars for a single mono compressor, so thats kinda why i was asking about the budget. but if you are looking for that price range, you have bunch of options. the alesis 3630 is alright for under 100 bucks. its stereo as well, so thats bonus. if you wanna spend a little more check the fat man from hhb. its stereo and tube. its like 4 bills though. dbx makes a couple in that price range too. check out plug ins too, cuz you can buy one, but basically you can have as many instances as your processor can handle. i dont know if you are using a computer though.

RNC Compressor is the only I'd compressor I'd consider under $1,000.. and its only 175

yeah, the Really Nice Compressor is dope. i was trying to remember the name of that one, i thought it was like Very Nice.. or something, but for the money that one is real dope.
